As part of the KNH Project, SWAGAA held a strategic engagement with traditional leaders at Mafutseni Umphakatsi to introduce a new initiative focused on improving GBV/VAC (Gender-Based Violence/Violence Against Children) prevention, response, and supportive services for children with disabilities.
The meeting served as a platform to share the project’s objectives, planned activities, and expected outcomes, while fostering collaboration with local leadership to ensure culturally grounded and inclusive protection mechanisms. By aligning traditional structures with child protection goals, the project aims to build safer, more responsive communities for all children—especially those with disabilities.
SWAGAA remains committed to working hand-in-hand with community leaders to advance rights-based, inclusive services across Eswatini.
